AMD, as many companies should, has a youtube channel and recently they uploaded a video of Robert Hallock explaining changes to Precision Boost Overdrive for Ryzen 3xxx series CPUs which are going to be released in next few days, to be specific 7/7 2019. Robert explains rules of PBO but unfortunately didn’t mention anything about compatibility side of things. Many people are now confused if their x370, b450, x470 motherboards will support updated PBO or not. My guess and it is only a guess is bios updates for motherboards will add support for updated PBO for Ryzen 3xxx series on non-x570 chipsets motherboards.
